New 4 week session with Jose Cruz, Latin rhythms musician & Director of Salseros Dance Company since 1999. This class will teach you all the basic steps, patterns, technique, partnering connection and all the details you need to know to get you started. Spend a little bit of this summer learning to dance Salsa from Florabelle UO salsa insturctor & Saul known for his smooth moves. No previous salsa experience or partner needed. All ages welcome. This beginning salsa class will focus on lead/follow footwork and partnering. We will talk about proper connection you should have with your partner and some techniques for better partnering. Spend a little bit of this summer learning to dance Salsa from Florabelle a UO salsa instructor & Saul known for his smooth lead and NY style. Together we have been teaching for several years. All ages welcome. This intermediate salsa class is a continuation from a beginning salsa 3. It will focus on lead/follow footwork and partnering. We will talk about proper connection you should have with your partner and some techniques for better partnering. We will start class with a body isolation warm and add footwork shines. The class is open to people that have taken a beginning salsa 4 class or have been dancing for six months or more. Class will be Monday from 8pm-9pm @ the Eugene Ballet Academy 1590 Willamette St. up stairs. Cost for the 4 class is $35 if you pre-register, or $40 if you don't.
